🚑 Urgences et incidents

  1. L'incendie de Bald Range atteint 18 450 hectares; les équipes mettent en garde contre le vent et les orages. Nowlin déplaçait des chevaux et d'autres animaux de la zone d'évacuation de Bald Range depuis vendredi, mais on lui a dit mardi soir qu'il ne pouvait plus travailler avec ALERT après avoir enfreint des règles, notamment en filmant les animaux; l'éleveuse Carolyn Dobler a déclaré que Nowlin avait secouru ses animaux et les avait amenés à Oliver et OK Falls.

  3. Une fumée dense a stagné dans les vallées de Penticton, confinant les flammes mais détériorant la qualité de l'air. Le porte‑parole du BC Wildfire Service, Cliff Chapman, a dit que la fumée a limité la propagation du feu en réduisant l'oxygène propre, mais a noté qu'environ 100 feux brûlent en Colombie‑Britannique, près de la moitié hors de contrôle, et que la dissipation de la fumée pourrait accroître le risque d'une reprise de l'incendie.
