Officers say Andrella was last seen between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. near Highway 7 East and Birchmount; she is described as 5'8", shoulder-length black hair and may have a hijab; York Regional Police have committed large numbers of officers and are canvassing multi-storey buildings and green spaces. ↗
2. Teenager seriously injured after car–bicycle crash at Steeles and Maxome. Toronto police and paramedics responded around 5:30 p.m.; one teenager taken to a local trauma centre with serious, non-life-threatening injuries; police reported no road closures and all involved parties remained on scene. ↗

1. Brampton man sentenced to 10 years, nine months after Moss Park shooting convictions. Nathan Bell was acquitted of first-degree murder on May 22 but found guilty of discharging a firearm with intent to wound and later pleaded guilty to three counts of violating weapons prohibition orders; the shooting occurred in the early hours of Sept. 16, 2023, near Sherbourne and Dundas. ↗
