Organizers cancelled the festival for Sunday, July 12, citing a complex police investigation led by homicide and guns-and-gangs units. ↗
2. Man arrested after shootout, escapes in stolen rideshare with passenger still inside. Toronto Police say shots were fired near Polson and Cherry at about 3:30 a.m.; a 25-year-old Brampton man allegedly stole a rideshare vehicle with a passenger still inside while fleeing and was later arrested.
