- Former Montreal priest Brian Boucher, 64, faces new child-pornography charges. Court documents say he was charged with possessing and accessing child sexual abuse material related to alleged activity in April; Boucher was previously sentenced in 2019 to eight years for sexually abusing two boys.
- A Nunavik Police Service officer appeared in Kuujjuarapik court on assault and assault-with-a-weapon charges. Quebec’s independent watchdog (BEI) says the alleged assaults occurred Aug. 26, 2025 in Umiujaq and the case will go to trial.
