Pedestrian critically injured in northeast Calgary hit-and-run at 44 Ave NE & 52 St NE. The collision happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday in Temple; Calgary police say the pedestrian sustained critical, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. Police say the driver did not remain at the scene and noted more than 280 pedestrians were struck by vehicles in the city between Jan. 1 and July 31.
