🚑 Breaking & Incidents

  1. Deux hommes poignardés pendant les prières du matin au gurdwara Nanaksar; suspect en garde à vue. L'attaque a eu lieu vendredi matin au temple sikh sur Manning Drive entre Edmonton et Fort Saskatchewan. Les responsables du temple ont indiqué que deux hommes âgés ont été poignardés et seraient dans un état stable. Des représentants du lieu de culte ont dit que des fidèles ont maîtrisé un suspect de race blanche jusqu'à l'arrivée de la police.
  2. Spéléologue libéré après 12 heures de sauvetage à Rat’s Nest Cave grâce à une nouvelle technologie radio souterraine. Le spéléologue était coincé vers 11 h 30 et a été dégagé vers 22 h après une opération impliquant 13 sauveteurs de grotte, 10 pompiers et deux membres du secours en montagne de Kananaskis; des radios souterraines construites par des bénévoles ont été utilisées en direct pour la première fois lors d'un sauvetage.
