  1. موت راكب دراجة نارية من إدمونتون (69 عاماً) في حادث بمقاطعة باركلاند على الطريق السريع 627. تقول RCMP إن الضباط عثروا على الراكب من إدمونتون متوفى في المكان بعد الساعة السادسة صباحاً بقليل يوم الخميس قرب طريق الرينج 273؛ سائق الشاحنة الصغيرة، وهو رجل يبلغ من العمر 82 عاماً من سبرس جروف، لم يصب بأذى وأغلقت الشرطة الطريق لإعادة بناء ملابسات التصادم قبل أن تفتحه مجدداً بعد ظهر الخميس.

  2. امرأة تبلغ 21 عاماً تُقتل بعد انقلاب مركبة منفردة بمقاطعة ستراثكونا. استجابت قوات الشرطة حوالي الساعة 12:30 صباحاً الخميس عند تقاطع تاونشيب رود 524 ورينج رود 214 حيث انقلبت سيارة دفع رباعي كانت تقل أربعة أشخاص إلى خندق مستنقعي؛ نجا ثلاثة ركاب، لكن عُثر على السائقة البالغة 21 عاماً محاصرة تحت المركبة ونُقلت مسرعة إلى المستشفى ثم أُعلن عن وفاتها لاحقاً.

🏛️ الحكومة والسياسة

  1. السكرتيرة الفدرالية روبي ساهوتا التقت بعمدة إدمونتون وبمجموعات لبحث سلامة وسط المدينة. تحدثت ساهوتا في حدث لغرفة تجارة إدمونتون يوم الخميس وأشارت إلى مخاوف مماثلة في مراكز مدن أخرى؛ وقال وزير عدالة ألبرتا ميكي أميري إن المقاطعة قدمت ملاحظات على إصلاحات الإفراج بكفالة والعقوبات الفدرالية الجديدة وأن حكومة المقاطعة تنفذ تلك المتطلبات.

  4. سائقة تقر بالذنب في القيادة تحت تأثير الكحول التي تسببت بوفاتين في حادث بمقاطعة ليدوك 2025. في محكمة ليدوك يوم الخميس، أقرت إيمي باتريشيا كراوت البالغة 39 عاماً بالذنب في تهمتين بعد تصادم وجهاً لوجه في 2 أبريل 2025 قرب الطريق السريع 21 وتاونشيب رود 502 الذي أودى بحياة كيان كونشينيو وشيرلي كونشينو؛ وأظهر فحص شرعي أن مستوى الكحول في دم كراوت تراوح بين 329–381 ملغ لكل 100 مل.
