Bus rollover north of Wawa sends 17 passengers to hospital; driver charged. Ontario Provincial Police say a passenger bus rolled onto its side on Highway 17 about 25 km north of Wawa shortly before 7 a.m. on Tuesday, sending 17 people to hospital with minor injuries who were later released; the driver has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. Police asked witnesses or dashcam owners to contact Superior East Wawa OPP.
Six belugas moved from Marineland toward U.S. aquariums in night convoy. Marineland staff guided two males (Zephyr and Balor) and four females (Caspian, Pikachu, Secord and Rain/Spurlock) into slings on Wednesday, then a police-escorted convoy left at about 8:30 p.m. for Toronto Pearson; the six were to be flown to Shedd Aquarium in Chicago after vets treated a tail cut on one whale.

Man found guilty of second-degree murder after social-media confession in Whitby case.
