  1. L'hôpital de Portage la Prairie retardé jusqu'au printemps ! Un hôpital tant attendu ouvrira ses portes le printemps prochain au lieu de novembre ce mois-ci, offrant au personnel plus de temps pour se former. Promis en 2021, ce nouveau centre de santé régional doublera la taille de l'établissement actuel — une mise à niveau nécessaire !

🏒 Sports

  1. Les Jets de Winnipeg maintiennent leurs rêves de playoffs ! Avec une victoire palpitante de 3-2 contre les Blues de Saint-Louis, les Jets s'accrochent à leurs espoirs de playoffs comme un enfant s'accroche à son jouet préféré. Après un début irrégulier, ils ont marqué trois buts consécutifs et ont survécu à une période finale tendue. Fans de hockey, votre équipe a encore une chance de se battre !

🌧️ Météo

  1. Les craintes d'inondation incitent à une aide fédérale ! Le gouvernement fédéral intervient avec une aide humanitaire pour la Première Nation Peguis, confrontée à des inondations sévères. La ministre Eleanor Olszewski a annoncé le déploiement de personnel pour aider à se préparer à la crise imminente. Espérons qu'ils garderont les eaux à distance !

💔 Général

  1. Les opportunités d'emploi foisonnent au forum de recrutement de santé ! Des dizaines de postes vacants ont ébloui les participants, mais les travailleurs ont exprimé des préoccupations concernant les obstacles qui persistent. C'est un pas dans la bonne direction, mais des avancées sont nécessaires pour un personnel stable !
  2. La statue commémorative de la Première Guerre mondiale trouve un nouveau foyer ! À l'occasion d'une anniversaire poignant, une statue bien-aimée honorant les vétérans de la Première Guerre mondiale a été ré-inaugurée dans un cimetière de Winnipeg. Cette cérémonie pleine d'émotion nous rappelle à tous notre histoire partagée et notre gratitude envers ceux qui ont servi.
  3. Le chaos de la saison de construction à venir ! Notre ville se prépare à 157 millions de dollars de projets de construction cette saison. Parmi eux, la réhabilitation tant attendue de la route Pemina. Si vous aimez un bon détour, c'est la saison pour vous !

🚧 Ouch !

  1. La prison de Stony Mountain saisit des contrabandes ! Plus de 100K $ de drogues, y compris de la méthamphétamine et de la marijuana, ont été confisqués lors d'une inspection. On dirait que quelqu'un ne va pas passer un jeudi très heureux !
  2. Tragédie sur l'autoroute 3 ! La vie d'un adolescent de Carman a été tragiquement interrompue après un accident entre deux véhicules. Le cœur de notre communauté va à la famille et aux amis pendant cette période douloureuse.

🏡 Communauté et culture

  1. Les ligues de flag football féminin en plein essor ! Une montée de la participation féminine s'est faite sentir avec 140 filles assistant au coup d'envoi du Flag Football de l'école secondaire des Bombers bleus. C'est inspirant de voir de jeunes athlètes briser les barrières dans le sport !
  2. Drame politique en cours ! Le leader du PC était remarquablement absent lors de la période de questions suite à une séance tendue avec le ministre de la santé. Il semble que les débats de l'hiver Grizzly s'intensifient !
