  1. Saisie de cocaïne de 20 M$ lors d'une grosse opération. La Police régionale de York et l'ASFC ont arrêté six personnes après l'interception d'un envoi en provenance de Panama. Cette opération, nommée "Projet Grenouille dorée", a mené à la saisie de 260 kg de cocaïne, d'une valeur de 20 millions de dollars.
  2. Arrestations dans des vols par distraction de bijoux à Winnipeg. Un couple de Toronto a été inculpé pour plusieurs tentatives de vol le jour de la fête du Canada. Les suspects, qui ciblaient les femmes âgées, ont été arrêtés après avoir été aperçus sur l'avenue Berrydale.
