  1. C'est un rematch de la Série Mondiale alors que les Dodgers reviennent à Toronto ! Les Blue Jays se préparent à une série difficile contre les Dodgers, qui les ont écrasés 14-2 lors de leur dernier face-à-face. Avec cinq home runs lors de ce match, il n'est pas surprenant que les Jays ressentent la pression alors qu'ils cherchent à renverser la situation dans ce rematch à enjeux élevés.
  2. Scottie Barnes est en feu ! Il a marqué 25 points pour mener les Raptors à une victoire autoritaire de 121-95 contre le Miami Heat, sécurisant ainsi leur position en playoffs. Avec cette victoire, les Raptors tiennent fermement la sixième place en playoffs, juste à temps pour la saison postseason.

🚇 Transports & Infrastructures

  1. Le chaos des navetteurs est le mot du jour ! Une fuite d'huile hydraulique sur la ligne 2 a causé d'importants retards et les excuses du PDG de la TTC, Mandeep Lali, alors que plus de 50 bus de navette ont été mobilisés pour transporter les navetteurs bloqués. Une matinée désordonnée, mais heureusement, personne n'a été blessé !
  2. De retour sur les rails ! Juste au moment où vous pensiez que votre trajet serait à jamais perturbé, la TTC a rapporté que le service de métro avait repris après la fuite d'huile. Un grand soupir de soulagement pour les utilisateurs quotidiens espérant éviter d'être en retard !

🏡 Logement & Économie

  1. Surprise, surprise ! Les ventes de maisons sont enfin en hausse ! Dans un marché qui semblait un peu endormi, la région du Grand Toronto a vu 5 039 maisons vendues en mars, une augmentation de 1,7 % par rapport à l'année précédente, allumant une lueur d'espoir pour le marché de l'immobilier.
  2. Mais ne vous emballer pas sur les prix ! Malgré l'augmentation des ventes, les prix des maisons continuent de baisser dans les villes les plus chères du Canada. C'est comme trouver une vente dans votre magasin préféré, mais tous les articles sont encore juste un peu hors de portée.

🏥 Santé & Éducation

  1. L'IA cherche de nouveaux amis dans le secteur de la santé ! Les hôpitaux sollicitent le concours de leur personnel pour trouver des idées sur la manière d'améliorer les soins de santé grâce à l'intelligence artificielle. Cela pourrait être un véritable changement de jeu pour le paysage sanitaire de Toronto !
  2. Des coupes arrivent dans les salles de classe. Le TDSB a annoncé des licenciements potentiels affectant 289 enseignants en raison de la baisse des inscriptions. Les représentants syndicaux avertissent que les chiffres sont encore plus élevés, donc c'est un moment inquiétant pour les éducateurs et les étudiants.

🚓 Criminalité & Sécurité

  1. Y a-t-il un lien ? La police enquête sur l'arme à feu et le SUV liés à l'homicide tragique de Ryan Wedding pour de possibles liens avec des affaires non résolues. La communauté cherche des réponses et une clôture à ce problème déchirant.
  2. Réseau de faux billets démantelé ! La police de Halton a arrêté des suspects impliqués dans un réseau de vente de fausse monnaie. Une victoire opportune qui nous rappelle toujours de vérifier notre monnaie !

  1. Espoirs de paix au milieu des tensions. La communauté iranienne de Toronto retient son souffle alors qu'elle navigue à travers le paysage compliqué des menaces internationales. Avec la famille restée au pays, les enjeux semblent plus élevés que jamais.
  2. Toujours en prière pour les proches. La diaspora continue d'exprimer des inquiétudes pour ses familles en Iran alors que les tensions politiques s'intensifient. La solidarité de la communauté reste forte alors qu'elle appelle à la paix.

  1. Le Wonderland du Canada évolue pour le mieux ! Une nouvelle politique d'accompagnement exige que les enfants de 15 ans et moins soient accompagnés d'un adulte. Juste à temps pour l'été, les parents peuvent profiter d'un peu de tranquillité d'esprit dans les manèges !
  2. Le Lotto Max a été amélioré ! À partir de ce vendredi, le prix d'un billet de Lotto Max passera à 6 dollars mais avec de meilleures cotes - quatre lignes au lieu de trois ! Plus de chances de rêver en grand !

  1. Dan Levy dit non à une suite de 'Schitt's Creek' sans Catherine O'Hara ! Les fans espérant un retour dans la ville excentrique de Schitt's Creek devront renoncer, du moins pour l'instant. Il n'y a pas de ruisseau sans le rire de Moira !
  2. Pourquoi Montréal ne reçoit-elle pas la Coupe du Monde ? Les règles strictes de la FIFA ont laissé Toronto et Vancouver comme derniers candidats. C'est un affrontement sportif dans tous les sens du terme !
