⚖️ Krimen at Kaligtasan

  1. Nagkaroon ng trahedya sa hilagang-kanlurang Calgary habang sinisiyasat ng pulisya ang nakamamatay na pamamaril. Isang pamamaril noong Lunes ng gabi malapit sa North Hill Co-op ang nag-iwan ng isang lalaki na patay at isa pang malubhang nasugatan. Isa itong nakakabahalang insidente habang ang pulisya ay naghahanap sa mga suspect na tumakas mula sa lugar. Sa pagtaas ng mga kaso ng krimen, hinihimok ang mga residente na manatiling mapagbantay.
  2. Sinasabi ng mga pro-Palestinian na sapat na ang sapat! Isang demanda ang umuusad laban sa Calgary Police at sa University of Calgary kasunod ng mga alegasyon ng karahasan ng pulis sa isang protesta noong Mayo 2024. Hinihingi ng mga aktibista ang pananagutan at itinuturo ang kanilang karapatan sa mapayapang pagtitipon — isang haligi ng demokrasya!

Pinaimbestigahan ng pulisya ng Edmonton ang anim na tao sa isang kakaibang balak kung saan kanilang sinadyang nasira ang mga sasakyan upang pilitin ang mga nagbebenta na ibaba ang mga presyo. Harapin ang kabuuang 33 na paratang, ang estratehiyang kriminal na ito ay nag-iwan sa marami na naguguluhan — mga tao, panatilihin natin ang ating mga transaksyon na tapat!

Dahil ang ating lokal na ekonomiya ay umaasa sa agrikultura, mahalagang bigyang-pansin ang kanilang mga pakik struggles!

✈️ Paglalakbay at Sibilisasyon

  1. Nasa alanganin ang WestJet matapos ang mga pagkansela ng flight! Nahaharap ang airline sa pagbatikos dahil sa mga alegasyon ng pagtangging magbigay ng kabayaran sa dose-dosenang apektadong pasahero kasunod ng mga pagkansela. Magdudulot ba ito ng mga pagbabago sa kanilang mga patakaran sa serbisyo sa customer? Abangan!

🌱 Komunidad at Kultura

  1. Isang nakababalitang pagkawala sa mga kalsada. Dalawang babae ang namatay at tatlo ang nasugatan matapos ang isang seryosong aksidente sa silangan ng Calgary. Sa pagiging isyu ng seguridad sa kalsada para sa komunidad, paalala ito upang magmaneho nang ligtas diyan — protektahan natin ang isa't isa sa mga daan!
