⚖️ Criminalité & Sécurité

  1. Tragédie dans le nord-ouest de Calgary alors que la police enquête sur un tir mortel. Une fusillade lundi soir près de la coopérative North Hill a laissé un homme mort et un autre gravement blessé. C'est un autre incident préoccupant alors que la police recherche les suspects qui ont pris la fuite. Avec la hausse des taux de criminalité, il est recommandé aux habitants de rester vigilants.
  2. Les militants pro-palestiniens en ont assez ! Une poursuite est en préparation contre la police de Calgary et l'Université de Calgary suite à des allégations de violence policière lors d'une manifestation en mai 2024. Les militants exigent des comptes et soulignent leur droit à la réunion pacifique — un pilier de la démocratie !
  3. Stratégie criminelle dans une grande ville ? Six hommes dans de beaux draps ! La police d'Edmonton a inculpé six individus dans le cadre d'un plan étrange dans lequel ils auraient endommagé des véhicules pour contraindre les vendeurs à baisser les prix. Avec un total de 33 accusations, cette tactique criminelle a laissé beaucoup de gens perplexes — les gens, soyons honnêtes dans nos transactions !

  1. Excusez la poussière ! Le remplacement du conducteur principal de Bearspaw est en cours. Si vous êtes à Bowness, préparez-vous à quelques détours alors que la construction commence pour la prochaine étape du projet de conducteur principal de Bearspaw. Des fermetures de routes et des clôtures en construction apparaissent, alors que les équipes visent à améliorer l'infrastructure de notre ville. C'est une gêne maintenant, mais pensez aux avantages à long terme !

  1. Pouvoir des pétitions ou manœuvres politiques ? Thomas Lukasuk affirme que les députés de l'UCP ont trop peur de voter sur sa pétition "Forever Canadian", qui a recueilli plus de 430 000 signatures. Avec l'avenir de l'Alberta en jeu, les législateurs prendront-ils la parole pour leurs électeurs ? Le temps presse !

  1. WestJet dans le collimateur après des annulations de vols ! La compagnie aérienne fait face à des critiques après des allégations de refus d'indemnisation à des dizaines de passagers affectés suite à des annulations. Cela conduira-t-il à des changements de leur politique de service client ? Restez à l'écoute !

  1. Une perte tragique sur les routes. Deux femmes ont perdu la vie et trois autres sont blessées après un grave accident à l'est de Calgary. Avec la sécurité routière étant une préoccupation communautaire, cela rappelle à tous de conduire prudemment là-bas — protégeons-nous les uns les autres sur la route !
