Tragic late-night rollover: Alberta RCMP say a charter bus hit the median and rolled over about 1 kilometre west of Debolt at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday; of the 37 people on board, a 50-year-old woman from Grande Prairie died and six passengers were taken to hospital in serious condition. Sixteen others with minor injuries were checked and released, remaining uninjured passengers were taken to the Debolt fire hall, and investigators say road conditions are believed to be a factor.

Community rally in Stavely tonight: The Southern Alberta Mustangs will host a benefit game at the Stavely arena tonight for three junior players killed last week — JJ Wright (18) and Cameron Casorso (18) of Kamloops, B.C., and 17-year-old Caden Fine from Alabama — after their car was struck by a gravel truck on the way to practice on Monday.
