Après avoir purgé une peine pour son implication dans le massacre de Surrey Six, Bacon vit maintenant sous des conditions judiciaires strictes ici même dans notre ville. La police locale garde un œil vigilant sur lui, nous rappelant que la sécurité reste une priorité.

  2. La justice triomphe avec la sentence de coupable pour homocide involontaire. Keith James Landry a été condamné à 14 ans pour avoir ôté la vie de Broden Radomske, 15 ans, lors d'un incident tragique il y a deux ans. Le douloureux rappel de la rapidité avec laquelle les vies peuvent être bouleversées apporte à la communauté à la fois un sentiment de clôture et de chagrin.

  3. Un nouveau procès en préparation pour un homme de Ponoka condamné pour meurtre. La peine de réclusion à perpétuité de Ryan Applegarth a été annulée par la plus haute cour de l’Alberta en raison d’un manque d’éléments sur l’intention dans la mort de son partenaire Chantelle Firingstoney. Ce cas nous rappelle que la quête de justice est un effort continu.
