- Ontario-based air ambulance with six people went missing off Nantucket. A Hamilton-based Gulfstream G-100 medevac operated by Latitude Air Ambulance departed Bermuda and failed to arrive at Boston Logan around 1:30 a.m. Saturday; data shows a descent from 24,000 to 11,000 feet around 1:05 a.m. and the U.S. Coast Guard launched air and surface search crews.
- Volunteers rescuing fruit from private trees aim to cut food waste. Local volunteer groups are collecting fruit from privately owned trees that would otherwise go unused, organising harvests and redistribution to food banks and neighbours across the city.
