- Accused in 2024 Edmonton Corn Maze killing pleads not criminally responsible, cites schizophrenia. Michael George Ferzli, 43, is on trial for second-degree murder in the Aug. 27, 2024 death of 53-year-old Joseph Farnsworth and has asked Justice Bob Aloneissi to find him NCR because of schizophrenia; court heard testimony that Ferzli believed Farnsworth espoused neo-Nazi views and had prior violent thoughts.
