1. A 27-year-old man died after being shot in a car in the city’s east end, Toronto police say. Toronto police reported the victim was 27 and was shot while inside a car in the city’s east end; the victim later died.

2. Police are seeking a suspect in a Sept. 5 hate-motivated assault at Yonge and Sheppard. Toronto police say the suspect pushed a victim draped in a Palestinian flag at about 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, described the man as 55–60 years old, 6-foot, heavy build, wearing a grey “JUST DO IT” shirt and green shorts, and ask witnesses to call 416-808-3500.
