Toronto clinches CFL playoff spot with 24-19 win over Edmonton. Chad Kelly threw two touchdown passes as the Argonauts secured a postseason berth and will begin playoff duty at BMO Field after improving their position; Kelly completed 19-of-31 passes for 373 yards with two interceptions. Alex Formenton signs with Oilers amid protests and petitions. Tristan Jarry aims to re-establish starting role with Oilers this season. Jarry arrived in Edmonton after a trade from Pittsburgh and is projected to be the Oilers’ main netminder when the season starts Sept. 29, backed by Devon Levi and delayed-return Frederik Andersen; Jarry played 19 games last season for Edmonton with a 9-6-2 record and worked through a lower-body injury that cost him nearly a month.
