- 911 service outages reported across Ontario and Quebec this morning. Ontario Provincial Police and multiple police forces reported intermittent 911 disruptions and urged use of non-emergency lines such as OPP’s 1-888-310-1122 while they work with service providers to restore service.
- Six people hospitalized after head-on crash in Gatineau caused by wrong-way driver. Sûreté du Québec says a Nissan driving the wrong way on Highway 50 struck another vehicle around 11:30 p.m.; two back-seat passengers remain in critical condition and the highway reopened about 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

- OPP seize more than $365,000 in illegal cannabis and charge four after probing online operation ‘420 Highway’. The July-to-September investigation led to three search warrants in Windsor on Sept. 2, seizure of dried cannabis, concentrates, edibles, vape products, contraband tobacco and $24,000 in cash.
