  1. Un homme plaide coupable pour une agression sexuelle non résolue en 2003 visant une aînée de 78 ans. Le mercredi Sept. 16, Barry Cory Ernest a plaidé coupable d'agression sexuelle causant des lésions corporelles et de vol pour l'attaque du Vendredi saint 2003; la victime, protégée par une interdiction de publication, est décédée en 2017 à l'âge de 92 ans, a indiqué la Couronne.
  2. Mise en retrait des accusations contre deux hommes liés au vol d'or de Pearson en 2023. Les accusations contre Amit Jalota ont été retirées à Brampton mardi et celles contre Ali Raza le jour suivant; l'avocat de Jalota a indiqué qu'il a subi trois ans de retombées et de restrictions, notamment des difficultés bancaires, après que son nom a circulé publiquement.
  3. Huit personnes accusées après la saisie de près de 2,8 M$ de cannabis illicite sur le territoire mohawk de Tyendinaga. La police a saisi environ 5 560 plants de cannabis évalués à 2,78 million de dollars et 34 kg de résidus de cannabis évalués à environ 34 000 dollars après une perquisition le Sept. 9; huit personnes âgées de 41 à 69 ans font face à des accusations en vertu de la Cannabis Act, sept provenant de Scarborough et une de Tyendinaga.
