Les policiers ont arrêté un homme de 20 ans à Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles le 8 septembre et ont exécuté des mandats de perquisition, le reliant à des vols à Anjou, Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Rivière-des-Prairies et Villeray; il fait face à des accusations notamment de vol, méfait et possession d’outils de cambriolage et est demeuré en détention après sa comparution.
  2. Un juge québécois acquitte le rappeur K’naan d’une accusation d’agression sexuelle de 2010. La juge Julie Roy a déclaré Keinan Abdi Warsame non coupable après avoir conclu que la preuve ne satisfaisait pas la norme de culpabilité hors de tout doute raisonnable dans une allégation liée à un incident en chambre d’hôtel en juillet 2010 à Québec.
